El Paso, Elsewhere is a supernatural neo-noir third-person shooter set in a reality-shifting motel. Players hunt werewolves, fallen angels, and other damned creatures. The game features a vivid slow-motion mechanic, paying homage to action classics. The setting is a three-story motel in El Paso, Texas, which mysteriously gained another 46 stories underground.

The game offers a fully-voiced neo-noir story campaign. Players aim to save victims of Draculae, the lord of the vampires. The narrative involves destroying a villain the protagonist once loved, even at the cost of their own life. The motel environment is dynamic, with hordes of destructible physics objects for players to shoot.

El Paso, Elsewhere includes an original hip-hop soundtrack, enhancing the game’s unique atmosphere. Players can use Molotov cocktails filled with holy blue flame as part of their arsenal. The game is designed to be loud and intense, with more slow-motion dives than typically expected in a single video game.
