COTTON REBOOT! is a remastered version of the classic Cotton: Fantastic Night Dreams, which first introduced players to the witchy shooting genre 30 years ago. This updated version brings new features and a modern visual design. The game offers three modes: X68000 original mode, Arrange mode, and Time Attack mode. The X68000 original mode emulates the 1993 version from Sharp’s personal computer, providing a nostalgic experience for long-time fans.

In Arrange mode, players can enjoy redesigned graphics and characters on a 16:9 screen. This mode offers a fresh take on the original game, allowing players to experience Cotton in a new way. The Time Attack mode challenges players to compete for scores online within a limited time, with options for a 2-minute or 5-minute mode. This mode adds a competitive edge to the game, encouraging players to improve their skills.

The COTTON REBOOT! Ver 1.01 update patch introduces several enhancements. One significant update is the modification of controller button notations to conform to Xbox controller specifications when connected. This ensures a seamless experience for players using Xbox or other Xinput-compatible controllers. If a PS4 controller is connected, the button notations remain specific to the PS4.
