Ed-0: Zombie Uprising is set in 1854, during the end of Japan’s Edo period. Consequently, zombies invade, spreading chaos across Edo.

In this tumultuous period, a group of individuals known as “Zom-beings” emerges. These mysterious figures possess powers that render them immune to the zombie threat. The game focuses on the efforts of three Zom-beings as they embark on a mission to rid Japan of the undead and restore the nation to its former state of isolation.
