WORLD OF HORROR is a cosmic horror RPG set in Shiokawa, Japan, where the Old Gods are reawakening. This game presents a world spiraling into madness, with strange appearances and unexplainable phenomena challenging the sanity of its residents. Players navigate this hellish reality using turn-based combat and must make unforgiving choices to confront the terror reigning over the apocalypse.

The game features a roguelite structure, where players invoke dark rituals, uncover disturbing clues, and tackle multiple randomized mysteries. These mysteries unravel into a series of random encounters with nightmarish figures inspired by horror legends Junji Ito and H.P. Lovecraft. The game challenges players to make strategic decisions as they face these terrifying entities.

WORLD OF HORROR offers 14 unique playable characters, each with their own fate to unveil. Players can choose their path from a pool of 20 dreadful investigations, with most mysteries offering multiple endings. This allows for varied gameplay experiences, as players explore the different outcomes of their investigations.
