Trinity Trigger is an action role-playing game that combines the nostalgic look of ’90s RPGs with modern combat mechanics. In this game, players take on the role of Cyan, a young man chosen by the gods to be the Warrior of Chaos. His destiny involves an inevitable confrontation with the Warrior of Order. Accompanied by his friends Elise and Zantis, Cyan embarks on a mission to challenge fate and save Trinitia.

The game introduces unique creatures called Triggers, which can transform into eight types of weapons. Players can switch between these weapons using the Weapon Wheel, allowing for dynamic combat strategies. The game provides the option to switch between the three main characters, enabling solo play or local co-op with up to two friends. This flexibility in character and weapon selection is central to the gameplay.

Trinity Trigger features dungeons known as Arma, which are towers constructed from the fallen weapons of the gods. These dungeons are filled with puzzles and enemies that players must navigate. The game encourages exploration of Trinitia’s diverse biomes, including forests, deserts, and snowfields, to uncover hidden passages and secrets. Interacting with townsfolk can provide valuable clues for progressing in the game.
