📚 SymbioPhobiA Overview

SymbioPhobiA is a short survival horror game that takes place in a futuristic bunker. The game is primarily viewed from an isometric perspective, offering a mix of action, exploration, puzzles, and platforming. Set in a dystopian future, players are sent from Colony 9 to Colony 7, where contact has been lost, to collect information and samples from a genetic experiment.

In this first chapter, players enter Colony 7 through the water treatment plant area. The objective is to reach the maintenance area and gather crucial information. The game focuses more on gameplay than on story, with a duration of about 2-3 hours. The developers aim to continue with two more chapters if the game receives enough support.

SymbioPhobiA’s environments are dark and claustrophobic, with no map references to guide players. This design choice enhances the oppressive feeling of the bunker setting. The game is played from a top-down view, but closer than usual, allowing players to navigate the confined spaces more intimately.

The game is intended as the first chapter of a larger story. If successful, the developers plan to improve the current chapter and complete the story with two additional parts. This initial release serves as a foundation for potential future developments in the SymbioPhobiA series.

⚙️ Installation Instructions

If you get any missing dll errors or the game is not launching, then Download Redist File and install all programs available in the "Redist" folder.
