📚 Solargene Overview

Solargene is a space management and strategy game set in the mid-21st century. In this game, humanity has run out of resources on Earth. The leading spacefaring nations start looking at space for solutions. The player takes control of a private space corporation. The goal is to industrially exploit the solar system for resources and profit.

The game covers the entire solar system, from Mercury near the sun to the icy Kuiper Belt far away. Players can visit and explore many unique planetary locations. These include the endless deserts of Venus, the deep canyons of Mars, the active volcanoes of Io, and the frozen surface of Europa. Every location has its own visual character and resource potential for the player to use.

Players can build dozens of colonies, space stations, and spacecraft across the solar system. These structures can house hundreds of colonists at one time. The construction in Solargene uses a simple but powerful building system. This allows players to design and build colonies according to their own vision without too much difficulty. The building tools are flexible and easy to understand.

Colony types in Solargene are very varied. Players can build spaceports, mining outposts, agricultural complexes, tourist resorts, scientific bases, and large orbital stations.
