Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Digital Deluxe Edition is a role-playing PC game. It is the complete and expanded version of the critically acclaimed Shin Megami Tensei V. The story is set in a ruined Tokyo called Da’at, a wasteland taken over by mythical demons.

The main character is a high school student in modern Tokyo. One night, a murder scene blocks his way home. He takes another path and ends up buried and wakes up in Da’at. A savior appears and the two merge into a powerful being called a Nahobino, who is neither human nor demon.

The game has two full story paths to play. The first is called the Canon of Vengeance, a new story about revenge by fallen beings. It features new characters and a group of demons called the Qadištu. The second is called the Canon of Creation, which is the original Shin Megami Tensei V story about an eternal war between angels and demons.

Players can explore wide open areas in Da’at and encounter hundreds of demons. These demons can be fought or befriended as allies. The game has an improved battle system and more accessible gameplay compared to the original.

The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game plus five extra DLC items. These are Mitama Dance of Wealth, which raises the drop rate of items sold for in-game money called Macca; Mitama Dance of EXP, which raises the drop rate of EXP items; Mitama Dance of Miracles, which raises the drop rate of Glory point items; and two extra demon subquests — Sakura Cinders of the East, and Holy Will and Profane Dissent. The game supports 13 languages and is a single-player title.
