ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN is an action adventure game where you play as Romeo Stargazer. The story begins when space-time breaks apart because of an incident. Romeo is dying when his grandfather saves him using special technology called the Dead Gear Life Support Device. This technology keeps Romeo alive but also causes a time paradox that damages space-time.

Romeo becomes a special agent for the FBI Space-Time Police. He hunts criminals who use the broken space-time for bad purposes. He also searches for his missing girlfriend Juliet. Her disappearance may be connected to what happened to space-time.

The combat switches between swords and guns. You fight many enemies using both weapon types. When you fight, Romeo collects blood from enemies. He uses this blood for a special attack called Bloody Summer. This attack is very powerful and can change how a battle goes.

The game takes place in both the real location and subspace areas. You move forward by finishing chapters that contain intense battles. Side missions are also available.

Romeo can upgrade his weapons as the story continues. Stronger enemies appear later, so better weapons help you fight them. The game contains violence and blood visuals. Enemies can be dismembered during fights.

The story is unpredictable and contains many surprises. The presentation uses multiple styles including motion graphics, sprites, and stop motion. The music comes from three main composers who created unique songs for every moment.
