Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition is a survival horror action game where you play as Leon S. Kennedy six years after the Raccoon City disaster. Leon is now a government agent sent to rescue the president’s kidnapped daughter Ashley Graham from a remote European village. When Leon arrives at the village, he discovers the residents have been infected by a parasite called Las Plagas. Weapons can be improved for better damage, reload speed, and capacity.

The game includes Mercenaries mode where you fight waves of enemies within a time limit. Separate Ways tells the story from Ada Wong’s perspective as she completes her own mission in the same locations. The Extra DLC Pack contains additional outfits like Casual and Romantic costumes for Leon and Ashley, plus bonus weapons.

The game preserves the original story while improving graphics and modernizing controls. VR support is available for compatible headsets.
