📚 House Party Overview

House Party is a 3D point-and-click adventure game on PC that takes place entirely inside and around a two-storey house during a single night. The player can choose to play as either a male or a female character, and the story begins with that character arriving at the party alone. The game has fifteen NPCs, and every one of them reacts to what the player says and does in real time. The game is rated Mature in its base version, where adult content is shown with black censor bars, and there is a separate Explicit Content Add-On DLC that removes those censor bars entirely.

The game’s AI and scripting tools are built to track the player’s dialogue and actions and use them to change what NPCs say, what they do, and what story paths become available. Each NPC has a personal social gauge that moves up or down based on how the player interacts with them. If an NPC’s gauge moves into a negative range, some story paths get blocked off entirely. If the gauge goes positive enough, new conversations and scenes unlock. NPCs in House Party also see and hear what the player does in other parts of the house, so an action taken near one character can change how a completely separate character behaves.

The two-storey house in the game has hundreds of items placed across every room. Players can pick up items, show them to NPCs, or use them on other objects or people. Some items are hidden and must be actively looked for by moving other objects out of the way. Items like the laptop in the house can be used to invite a new guest to the party, and the MP3 player lets the player change the music that is playing at the party. Picking up alcohol without being spotted by the character Frank, who confiscates drinks, is a required step in several NPC storylines.

The game includes a separate Explicit Content Add-On DLC, the Doja Cat Expansion Pack, the Liz Katz Expansion Pack, and the Game Grumps story, in which YouTubers Dan and Arin appear as voiced NPCs with over three hundred lines of dialogue recorded by them personally. The Game Grumps were selected through a public fan vote held by the developers in 2018. The Supporter Pack DLC, the most recently released paid content, includes new story content for Ashley and Derek and serves as a prelude to the studio’s next game, called Office Party.

Eek! Games also provides modding tools on its website that let players write their own dialogue, interactions, and logic and then import those custom stories into the game. The base game has no single ending, as there are dozens of separate NPC storylines that can be completed in any order or left incomplete. The game was in early access for five years before leaving early access on 15 July 2022.

⚙️ Installation Instructions

We have simple instructions for downloading and installing the House Party torrent game on your Windows operating system. The procedure is the same for all Windows operating systems. Before proceeding, ensure that your system meets the minimum system requirements to play the Game.

5. Double-click on the Setup.exe file.
6. You may need to provide administrator permissions for the installation to proceed. If asked, click Yes to continue.
7. Follow the on-screen installation wizard to install the game on your PC.

If you get any missing dll errors or the game is not launching, then Download Redist File and install all programs available in the "Redist" folder.
