FIFA 17 is a football simulation video game for PC. It runs on the Frostbite 3 engine, which was used in the FIFA series for the first time with this game. Borussia Dortmund player Marco Reus is the cover athlete. The game supports both single-player and multiplayer modes.

One of the biggest additions in FIFA 17 is “The Journey” mode. This is a story-based campaign where the player controls Alex Hunter, a 17-year-old footballer from London who wants to play in the Premier League. FIFA Ultimate Team also gets new additions in FIFA 17. Squad Building Challenges and FUT Champions are two major new features in this mode, though they are not available on older consoles. Women’s teams return to the game as well, with the Norway women’s national team added in this edition. Commentary is provided by Martin Tyler and Alan Smith, with support for multiple languages including Spanish and French.

FIFA 17 received positive reviews from critics. GameSpot gave it a 9/10 and Game Informer rated it 8.75/10. On Metacritic, the PC version scored 84/100. It was nominated for Sports Game of the Year at the 20th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards and became the fastest-selling edition in the FIFA series.
