Death end re;Quest: Code Z – Digital Deluxe Edition is a role-playing game that continues the story from the previous entry in the series. The story follows Sayaka Hiwatari, a new hero who must deal with a growing threat in a copied version of a parallel universe called World DE-1.5.

The story begins with Iris, a character born in World DE-1, a place that mirrors Earth in the 2000s. After a series of tragic loops were broken by Arata Mizunashi and his team, Iris created World DE-1.5 as a peaceful copy. In this new place, former enemies became friends and lived in harmony.

That peace does not last. A mysterious man arrives with a group of people who look exactly like the heroes of this copied universe. Sayaka must figure out who is a friend and who is an enemy, which makes every step forward uncertain and dangerous.

The game takes place inside deadly dungeons called the Strain Area. These dungeons are randomly generated, so the monsters, traps, and items change with every run. Players must think carefully before acting, because enemies also move when the player does.

One of the most notable parts of the game is its Death End mechanic. A single wrong move can lead to one of dozens of violent endings. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes extra content beyond the base game, giving players more to explore and experience in this dark and unpredictable story.
