Chicken Run: Eggstraction is a stealth game based on the Chicken Run movies from Aardman Animations. It follows the events of Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget. Chickenkind is still in danger, and the gang must act fast to save captured chickens from five fortified farms.

Players take control of Molly, Rocky, Frizzle, and other characters from the films. The goal is to sneak into each farm, free the captured chickens, and escape without getting caught. Security guards, CCTV cameras, and poultry villains all stand in the way.

The stealth options are silly and fun. Players can hide inside bins, wear a traffic cone as a disguise, or simply run away in a panic. These are real tools in the game, not just jokes. The approach to sneaking is loose and comedic rather than strict or serious.

Before each mission, players build a squad of chickens. Each chicken has its own traits, special powers, and gadgets. Picking the right combination matters for getting past the obstacles on each farm. The squad-building adds a layer of planning before the action starts.

Two players can team up in co-op mode. Working together helps solve puzzles and free chickens faster. However, players can also accidentally get in each other’s way or mess up each other’s plans. The co-op mode supports both teamwork and friendly sabotage.

The game was created at Aardman Animations, the same studio behind the films. It includes a brand-new story with new villains and unexpected twists. Fans of the movies will find the tone and style very familiar. The silliness from the films carries over into the gameplay.
