GreedFall: The Dying World – Deluxe Edition is a narrative RPG set in a vast fantasy land inspired by 17th-century Europe. The story takes place three years before the events of the original GreedFall. Players take on the role of a native of Teer Fradee — a spiritual leader called a Doneigad — who is captured by foreign powers from the Old Continent and must fight to regain freedom.

The game gives players full control over character creation, including appearance, attributes, talents, and abilities. As players progress, every alliance formed and every action taken has real consequences that can change the fate of nations. Diplomacy and negotiation are just as powerful as combat, and force is not always the best option.

When battles begin, the game uses real-time combat with a tactical pause feature. Players can stop the action at any point to plan attacks, direct companions, and target enemy weak points before continuing. For those who prefer faster action, direct combat without pausing is also possible. Multiple combat profiles allow players to switch between full tactical control and a more action-based style.

Companions play an important role in the story and in battle. Players can build relationships with them, and these bonds influence how events develop.

The Deluxe Edition includes extra content on top of the base game. The Gacane Pioneers Pack gives players two outfits for the main character and companions, inspired by the Nauts and Merchant Congregation factions. The Peren’s Black Mass Pack includes an exclusive quest, a unique outfit, and an alternative weapon. The Art Pack contains a 50-page digital artbook and the game’s original music. The game is available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
