📚 The Last Faith Overview

The Last Faith is a 2D action side-scrolling game that combines Metroidvania and soulslike gameplay. The player controls Eryk, a man who wakes up with no memory of his recent past. His mind and conscience start to fall apart, and he goes on a mission to find salvation. This mission takes him into contact with ancient religions and divinities.

Combat in The Last Faith is merciless and precise. Players have access to a wide range of melee weapons, arcane spells, and long-range firearms. Custom executions can also be performed on enemies. New skills, items, weapons, and spells are gained as the player progresses, and these also open up areas that were blocked before. The exploration is nonlinear, meaning players can move around the map in many ways.

The game has a dark visual style with pixel graphics, showing snow-covered mountains, moonlit castles, and other dark locations. The game contains 2D pixel-style violence, blood, and gore.
