Easy Red II is a tactical World War II shooter game that offers a realistic experience of historical battles. Players can choose to command their squad in solo missions against AI or compete against other players. The game includes six extensive campaigns, each based on actual events from World War II. Players can engage in the Anzio campaign in Italy, where a prolonged and intense stalemate occurred in 1944. Another Italian campaign featured is Monte Cassino, known for its challenging mountainous terrain and the fierce battles fought there.

In addition to the Italian campaigns, Easy Red II takes players to North Africa with the Tunisia campaign, depicting the last stand of German forces in 1943. The game also covers significant battles in the Pacific, including Operation Flintlock. This operation includes battles on the Marshall Islands of Kwajalein and Roi-Namur, showcasing joint operations by U.S. Army Pacific and Marine forces to reclaim islands from the Japanese Empire in early 1944.

The Battle of Makin is another key campaign, coinciding with the battle of Tarawa.
