Forgotten Seas is a survival game where you play in the Bermuda Void. This is a strange place where the ocean never ends and islands appear and disappear. You are stuck here and must survive by building ships and exploring. The game has both single-player and online co-op modes so you can play alone or with friends.

You can create ships that fit inside bottles. Any ship you build can be stored in a bottle no matter how big it is. You can take out your ship anytime you need it. This helps you explore islands or fight pirates. You can also build multiple ships for different situations and switch between them.

The game has a building system where you can create docks and camps on islands. You explore these islands to find treasures and resources. But islands can vanish while you are on them so you must run back to the shore quickly and get your ship out before the island disappears completely.

You fight pirates on the sea and on land. The combat is simple with dual-wielding weapons. Ship battles require you to watch your speed and direction carefully. You must aim your cannons properly or the enemy will destroy your ship. There are also dangers like storms and whirlpools and sea monsters.

The game has treasure hunting where you collect map pieces and then use the complete map to find hidden treasures. You also need to manage hunger and thirst to stay alive. The story involves finding out why the Bermuda Void exists and if you can escape from it.
