Kena: Bridge of Spirits – Deluxe Edition is an action adventure game where you play as Kena, a young Spirit Guide who helps lost spirits move on after death. She travels to an abandoned mountain village searching for the source of a strange corruption that has spread across the area. During her search, Kena meets troubled spirits who cannot rest because of painful memories from the past. Helping them slowly uncovers the history of the village and the reason behind its downfall.

Kena fights using a magical staff that can be used for close attacks and also changes into a bow for long distance combat. She can block attacks with a magical shield, dodge incoming strikes, and use powerful spirit abilities during battles. Small creatures called Rot travel with Kena and help move heavy objects, carry items, and assist during combat. Collecting Rot increases their strength and allows them to perform stronger support actions when enough courage has been built during fights.

The adventure takes place across forests, rivers, caves, temples, mountain paths, forgotten houses, and ancient ruins. Hidden chests, meditation spots, spirit mail, hats for the Rot, and valuable collectibles encourage careful exploration before leaving an area. The Deluxe Edition includes the main game together with a digital soundtrack, a unique silver staff, and golden Rot skins that change the appearance of the small companions. The campaign combines action, exploration, character improvement, and spirit guidance while following Kena as she restores peace to the abandoned village and helps lost spirits find rest.
