📚 Portal Stories: Mel Overview

Portal Stories: Mel is a community-made modification for Portal 2, set in the Portal universe. This standalone mod does not require Portal 2 to be installed but does require ownership of the game. The story revolves around Mel, who wakes up in the Aperture facility after years of slumber due to a faulty test. She encounters a new personality core and faces an undiscovered threat within the facility.

The game is set in 1952, during the early years of Aperture: Science Innovators. Cave Johnson’s scientists were conducting experiments with little regard for safety, leading to Mel’s unintended long-term sleep. Upon awakening, Mel is guided by a fake Cave Johnson, who instructs her to escape the facility using the Aperture Handheld Portal Device. This device becomes crucial as Mel navigates the complex environment of Aperture.

Portal Stories: Mel offers 22 levels, providing an estimated gameplay time of 6 to 10 hours. The mod features a custom story with 350 separate in-game voice lines, enriching the narrative experience. Players will also enjoy over an hour of custom music, with the soundtrack included for free. The game includes a significant amount of custom assets, enhancing the visual and auditory elements of the mod.

There are 27 Steam achievements available, offering players additional goals to pursue. The puzzles within Portal Stories: Mel are logic-based, emphasizing problem-solving over execution. ⚙️ Installation Instructions

We have simple instructions for downloading and installing the Portal Stories: Mel torrent game on your Windows operating system. The procedure is the same for all Windows operating systems. Before proceeding, ensure that your system meets the minimum system requirements to play the Game.

You must have zip file extracting software and torrent software installed on your PC. If you do not have these two software programs installed on your PC, then you will first need to download and install the two software programs on your PC before following the steps.

You can use any zip file extracting software and torrent software, (We recommend "WinRAR" and "qBittorrent" Software). WinRAR / 7-Zip / µTorrent Classic / qBittorrent (64-bit) / qBittorrent (32-bit).

Follow the simple instructions:

1. First, click on the "Torrent Download" button, and Download the "Portal-Stories-Mel.zip" file on your PC.
2. Right-click on the "Portal-Stories-Mel.zip" file and click on the "extract here" option from the dropdown menu.
3. Double click on the "Portal-Stories-Mel.torrent" file. Then, choose the download folder.
4. After Download Completed, Open the Game folder.
5. Double-click on the Setup.exe file.
6. You may need to provide administrator permissions for the installation to proceed. If asked, click Yes to continue.
7. Follow the on-screen installation wizard to install the game on your PC.

If you get any missing dll errors or the game is not launching, then Download Redist File and install all programs available in the "Redist" folder.
