CHAOS;CHILD is set in a darker version of Japan, specifically in Shibuya, where a massive earthquake devastated the city six years prior. The game is set in October 2015 and follows Takuru Miyashiro, a senior and president of the newspaper club, who is investigating a series of recent murders. These murders echo a series of killings that terrorized Shibuya six years ago, leading Takuru to uncover a terrifying truth.

In CHAOS;CHILD, players take on the role of Takuru as he tries to track down a serial killer. The game’s narrative revolves around the investigation of bizarre and gruesome deaths that the police are unable to solve. Takuru, along with his uniquely talented friends, delves into these supernatural murders, seeking to understand the underlying pattern and motives behind them.
