📚 Flotsam Overview

Flotsam is a city-building game set in a flooded future. The ocean has swallowed most of the old land. Players build a floating town using garbage collected from the water. Plastic, driftwood, and salvaged scraps become homes, workshops, and gardens for the people living on the water.

Keeping the town running takes real effort. Players must desalinate water, gut fish for food, and build shelters to protect everyone. Decorating the town with plants, furniture, and statues helps keep the drifters happy. A happy community is easier to manage and more productive.

Sailing out to explore is a big part of the game. Players visit flooded ruins and forgotten islands to find resources and survivors. Animals can also be rescued along the way. However, the old ruins are polluted, and drifters can get sick from spending time in contaminated areas. Finding cures for pollution-born diseases is important to keep everyone healthy.

Special characters called drifters bring unique skills to the floating town. The Birdkeeper, Chemist, and Electrician each unlock new buildings and story content. Completing a drifter’s personal story opens up new mechanics. These characters add purpose to exploration and give the town new directions to develop.

Over time, the town can become a cleaner and smarter place. Players research new technology to move away from burning firewood and start generating green electricity. Production pipelines connect different parts of the town so that waste becomes useful again. The goal is to turn a struggling group of survivors into a self-sustaining floating community that no longer depends on polluting methods to survive.

⚙️ Installation Instructions

We have simple instructions for downloading and installing the Flotsam torrent game on your Windows operating system. The procedure is the same for all Windows operating systems. Before proceeding, ensure that your system meets the minimum system requirements to play the Game.

You must have zip file extracting software and torrent software installed on your PC. If you do not have these two software programs installed on your PC, then you will first need to download and install the two software programs on your PC before following the steps.

You can use any zip file extracting software and torrent software, (We recommend "WinRAR" and "qBittorrent" Software). WinRAR / 7-Zip / µTorrent Classic / qBittorrent (64-bit) / qBittorrent (32-bit).

Follow the simple instructions:

1. First, click on the "Torrent Download" button, and download the torrent Flotsam.zip file on your PC.
2. Right-click on the Flotsam.zip file and click on the "extract here" option from the dropdown menu.
3. Double click on the .torrent file. Then, choose the download folder.
4. After Download Completed, Open the Flotsam Game folder.
5. Double-click on the Setup.exe file.
6. Follow the on-screen installation wizard to install the game on your PC.
7. You may need to provide administrator permissions for the installation to proceed. If asked, click Yes to continue.

If you get any missing dll errors or the game is not launching, then Download Redist File and install all programs available in the "Redist" folder.

Done!. Now you can launch the game from your desktop.
