Terminator 2D: NO FATE is a pixel art action game based on the film Terminator 2: Judgment Day. You play as Sarah Connor, the T-800, and John Connor across a series of missions. The game was built from the ground up with classic arcade gameplay in mind.

The story follows the events of the film but also adds original scenarios not seen in the movie. You fight to stop the T-1000 and prevent Skynet from destroying the human race. The game has multiple endings, so the final outcome depends on how you play.

John Connor leads the Resistance in Future War missions set on the front lines. These levels are separate from the film-based stages and show mankind’s fight against the machines. You shoot, sneak, and escape from the T-1000’s blades across a wide range of levels.

The game includes several enemy types and major fights against powerful opponents. You can aim for high scores in every level and compete on a ranking table. The goal is to reach the top rank in each stage and claim a spot in the high score table.

There are six game modes to unlock and play: Story Mode, Arcade Mode, Infinite Mode, Boss Rush, Mother of the Future, and Level Training. The music includes reworked pieces from the original Terminator 2: Judgment Day score along with new compositions created for the game. The pixel visuals and music were designed to match the look and feel of a classic arcade cabinet from that era.
