The game introduces an Overkill system, allowing players to stack damage beyond an enemy’s health for bonus experience, encouraging players to inflict maximum damage for greater benefits.

During dungeon exploration and battles, players must be cautious of the Berserker, a faceless black figure that appears unexpectedly. The Berserker displays an area of attack upon its appearance, and Mai and her squad must quickly move out of this area to avoid instant death from its powerful blow.
