📚 Light Up The Town Overview

Light Up The Town is a cozy PC game set in Bellflower, Colorado during winter. You play as Bean, a young ferret whose father Chuck is a local electrician. Chuck gets hurt and cannot work, so Bean takes on the job of decorating the town before the Winter Festival begins.

Bean’s job is to hang string lights and holiday decorations all around Bellflower. You click anywhere on the screen to throw lights and place decorations. The game has over 18 handcrafted levels, and every level is a part of the town that needs to be lit up before the festival arrives.

One fun part of the game is that you can decorate however you like. You can change the size and rotation of any decoration you place. There is no single correct way to decorate, so you can be as creative as you want while still getting the town ready in time.

As you play, you can collect coins scattered around the town. These coins let you unlock more lights and decorations to use. This gives you more options as you move further into the game and visit new parts of Bellflower.

The story adds a small but clear reason to keep playing. A blizzard is coming, and the Winter Festival depends on Bean finishing the job.
