In My Very Own Light, players step into the shoes of William, who finds himself in a mysterious property with half of his brain trapped in a lantern. This 3D puzzle adventure-vania challenges players to navigate a vast area of over 9 hectares, featuring 32 environments and a 1.3-hectare castle with 152 rooms and 170 windows. The castle spans three floors and includes three levels of underground galleries covering more than 7 hectares.

Players will encounter over 300 puzzle sets, with 33 puzzle types such as sokobans, laser and mirror sets, and sliding puzzles. The game world is meticulously crafted, with more than 2,500 elements and over 170,000 objects placed by hand. The lore unfolds through the environment, with over 160 pieces of information and eight main protagonists whose destinies can be influenced by the player’s actions.

The game offers more than 50 hours of gameplay, with 40 pick-up items and 82 enemies, each with unique personalities. Players will explore areas like the Occult Chambers and the Wing of the Courtesans, discovering multiple passages and mysteries within the castle. The turn-based combat system focuses on observation and deduction, challenging players to think strategically against their adversaries.
