Home Behind 2 is a Roguelike RPG set in the fictional country of Scaria, which is engulfed in a 10-year civil war. The game takes players back to a time 10 years before the events of the first game, where Scaria is under the rule of the dictator Akadullah. Citizens are beginning to call for liberation, and uprisings are spreading across the country.

Players lead a group of revolutionary fighters into the heart of the government’s territory. The aim is to overthrow the brutal authoritarian regime. The game features Banan, a college student who returns to her homeland to join the revolution. She is joined by Prince, an agent from the Norto Republic, and Haroun, the disgraced son of a tribal leader.

The gameplay involves exploring randomly generated areas of western Scaria. Players must navigate these areas, occupy enemy oil fields, and claim cities for the Revolutionaries. The game challenges players to evade capture by Akadullah’s regime while leading the revolution.
