IMMORTALITY is an interactive trilogy crafted by Sam Barlow, known for Her Story. The game invites players to explore the mysterious disappearance of Marissa Marcel, an actress from three unreleased films. Players use a unique cinematic ability to teleport between scenes, uncovering a treasure trove of footage from these lost films.

The first film, Ambrosio, is directed by Alan Fischer and is an adaptation of M. Lewis’s Gothic novel, The Monk. Marissa Marcel plays the infamous character Matilda, marking her debut in the film industry. This film sets the stage for her enigmatic career, which is further explored in the game.

In Minsky, a thriller set in New York City, John Durick writes with Marissa in mind. She stars as a muse suspected of murdering a famous artist. This film delves into the complexities of Marcel’s character, adding layers to the mystery surrounding her life and career.

The final film, Two of Everything, marks Durick’s swansong and Marcel’s return after a hiatus. This subversive thriller explores the duality between a successful pop star and her body double. Despite the intriguing premises, none of these films were released, believed to be lost or destroyed until now.
