📚 Abathor Overview

Abathor is a 2D platformer set in the era when Atlantis ruled the oceans. The game features action roguelite influences and allows up to four players to join in local mode. Players must cooperate and compete to save Atlantis from hordes of monsters sent by the gods. The Atlantean civilization has angered the gods, resulting in fierce demons being unleashed upon the continent.

Players will navigate more than 50 stages with increasing difficulty, battling against ferocious demons, primordial gods, and other terrifying creatures. The game includes incredible final bosses that require strategic thinking and teamwork. As players progress, they will encounter flying beasts, crawling horrors, and traps that test their skills. The journey also involves descending into chilling abysses, adding to the game’s intensity.

Abathor offers elaborate pixel art that captures the essence of retro 16-bit games, reminiscent of the arcades of the 80s and 90s. The game draws influence from the metroidvania and beat ’em up genres, providing a nostalgic experience for players. The epic soundtrack features over 40 tracks, enhancing the game’s atmosphere and immersing players in the world of Atlantis.

The game also incorporates lore based on Plato’s writings and Athanasius’ map, allowing players to traverse the entire continent of Atlantis. While cooperating to close the Gates of Abathor, players compete against each other for loot and spoils. Treasures plundered during the game can be offered to the gods to receive their favor, adding a competitive element to the cooperative gameplay.

⚙️ Installation Instructions

We have simple instructions for downloading and installing the Abathor torrent game on your Windows operating system. The procedure is the same for all Windows operating systems. Before proceeding, ensure that your system meets the minimum system requirements to play the Game.

You must have zip file extracting software and torrent software installed on your PC. If you do not have these two software programs installed on your PC, then you will first need to download and install the two software programs on your PC before following the steps.

You can use any zip file extracting software and torrent software, (We recommend "WinRAR" and "qBittorrent" Software). WinRAR / 7-Zip / µTorrent Classic / qBittorrent (64-bit) / qBittorrent (32-bit).

Follow the simple instructions:

1. First, click on the "Torrent Download" button, and download the torrent Abathor.zip file on your PC.
2. Right-click on the Abathor.zip file and click on the "extract here" option from the dropdown menu.
3. Double click on the .torrent file. Then, choose the download folder.
4. After Download Completed, Open the Abathor Game folder.
5. Double-click on the Setup.exe file.
6. Follow the on-screen installation wizard to install the game on your PC.
7. You may need to provide administrator permissions for the installation to proceed. If asked, click Yes to continue.

If you get any missing dll errors or the game is not launching, then Download Redist File and install all programs available in the "Redist" folder.
