Burden of Command™ is a story-led tactical war game set during World War II. The player takes the role of a company commander leading soldiers through real combat situations inspired by historical events.

The game focuses on the emotional and moral side of leadership. Players must manage the mental and physical condition of their soldiers alongside battlefield tactics. Soldiers in the game have names, personalities, and personal histories. Their wellbeing matters as much as winning a battle.

Combat is presented from a close ground-level view, putting the player right at the action. The tactical gameplay requires careful positioning, squad management, and smart use of available resources on the battlefield.

One important feature is the Leadership Stress system. As a commander, the player faces morally heavy situations where orders can save some soldiers but put others at risk. These situations test how the player handles command responsibility under pressure.

Soldiers can suffer from stress, fatigue, and injury. Managing these conditions is necessary to keep the unit performing well in later missions. Losing a soldier has a genuine impact because each one carries a personal story within the game.

The campaign is based on the actions of the 36th Infantry Division during real World War II battles in Italy. The missions follow historical events closely, giving the player an accurate and serious look at ground-level warfare.

⚙️ Installation Instructions

We have simple instructions for downloading and installing the Burden of Command torrent game on your Windows operating system. The procedure is the same for all Windows operating systems. Before proceeding, ensure that your system meets the minimum system requirements to play the Game.

You must have zip file extracting software and torrent software installed on your PC. If you do not have these two software programs installed on your PC, then you will first need to download and install the two software programs on your PC before following the steps.

You can use any zip file extracting software and torrent software, (We recommend "WinRAR" and "qBittorrent" Software). WinRAR / 7-Zip / µTorrent Classic / qBittorrent (64-bit) / qBittorrent (32-bit).

Follow the simple instructions:

1. First, click on the "Torrent Download" button, and download the torrent Burden of Command.zip file on your PC.
2. Right-click on the Burden of Command.zip file and click on the "extract here" option from the dropdown menu.
3. Double click on the .torrent file. Then, choose the download folder.
4. After Download Completed, Open the Burden of Command Game folder.
5. Double-click on the Setup.exe file.

If you get any missing dll errors or the game is not launching, then Download Redist File and install all programs available in the "Redist" folder.
