Alan Wake 2: Deluxe Edition is a survival horror game for PC. It is a direct sequel to the original Alan Wake. The story takes place 13 years after the first game. Players can switch between two characters: Saga Anderson and Alan Wake. Both are in very dangerous situations and are connected in ways they do not fully understand.

Saga Anderson is an FBI agent who arrives at Bright Falls to investigate a series of ritualistic murders. The case quickly takes a supernatural turn when she finds pages of a horror story that starts becoming real. Alan Wake is a writer trapped in a dark and nightmarish place called the Dark Place. He is writing a story to change reality and escape from it.

The combat in Alan Wake 2 is slower and more careful than action games. Light is a key weapon. Players must use a flashlight to remove the darkness around enemies before they can shoot them. Resources are limited, so players must be smart. The game has a wound system where gunshots cause visible damage on enemies.

The Deluxe Edition includes the full base game along with two expansions: Night Springs and The Lake House. The Night Springs expansion lets players play as fan-favourite characters in three separate story episodes. The Lake House expansion is a horror experience set in a research station near Cauldron Lake. Players take control of FBC agent Kiran Estevez inside a facility where dangerous experiments have gone very wrong.

The Deluxe Edition also comes with several bonus cosmetic items. These include the Crimson Windbreaker and Lantern Charm for Saga, and the Celebrity Suit and Parliament Shotgun Skin for Alan. The game is available on PC via the Epic Games Store. It also supports PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
