Revenge of the Savage Planet – Cosmic Hoarder Edition is a sci-fi action-adventure PC game. In the game, the player is an employee who has been left abandoned at the far edge of space by a corrupt company. With very little gear and no help, the player must explore alien planets, collect upgrades, and get revenge on the former employer to return to Earth.

The game has four large, colourful alien planets. Players can scan plants, capture strange creatures, swim in lakes, explore caves, and climb mountains. Scanning and cataloguing creatures and plants raises the science level, which helps unlock new gear. Captured creatures can be kept in pens near the player’s personal space trailer called the Habitat, which can also be decorated with items and furniture.

Players can run, jump, shoot, grind, stomp, dodge, slide, whip, and grapple. There are also three types of gameplay goo to use in the field. The game can be played solo or with another player via online co-op or local split-screen co-op. Cross-platform multiplayer is also supported.

The Cosmic Hoarder Edition includes the base game along with the Cosmic Hoarder Upgrade. This upgrade adds the Shama Lama’s Influencer Accelerator Program, which has four extra in-game missions. In these missions, players find selfie spots across planets, decorate the Habitat, and complete other influencer-style tasks for a character called the Shama Lama. The edition also includes the HR Enforcer Deluxe Suit, the official soundtrack, and an art book.
