Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy are on a mission in Disney Illusion Island. They must recover three stolen Tomes to protect the island of Monoth. This adventure takes them across various biomes, from high mountains to deep roots. Players can explore the seamless environment while unlocking abilities and meeting interesting characters.

The game offers a new time trial mode called Keeper Up. Players race to collect items in remixed areas of Monoth. There’s also a detective mystery named Mystery In Monoth, where players help Dash Dolphin find clues and solve cases. Another feature is the Cave Adventuring Scavenger Hunt, where Scrooge McDuck assists players in finding permanent upgrades.
